Lately I've been sketching my new oc's from the new book I'm writing, and this is my main girl character.

But strange thing is, I've been drawing my characters when a year has passed. I'm trying to come up with ideas for the book, but other ideas for another book keep coming, and I don't want to write a sequel at all.

So I figured my character would cut off about a foot of her hair, or possibly more.

This was drawn while at the Institute. It first started off as a cute head, but I couldn't help but draw the rest of the body (and it fit on one page, too! )

I put a little bit of myself in this character. In high school, whenever I was down and really wanted to change something about myself, the first thing I would do was get a haircut. I'm trying to grow my hair out (not having much success though) but I love the feeling of a new style. I haven't had that since my senior year.

Once again I'm rambling on and on. And kudos to me, this is my first colored picture of this character. Sketches of her are right here [link] And this is her with long hair as well.

I'm thinking of adding a background of her bedroom, but I'm not sure yet. What do you all think?
