I don't know how long this took. Possibly a week? Let me go check. Yeah. September 20th. Is it obvious that I'm thinking too much about the Leven Thumps series? Quite possibly. Still... I've never finished a so much detailed picture in such a short time. I should celebrate somehow. *throws confetti* Basically, I was inspired by the series, of course, but I love those books where you seem to leave Reality for awhile, and everything about the book you're reading is so magical. Hence, why the book is the main point of the picture. ^-^ Glowing, shining. And Clover... he's so cute!

Anyway, on with better things, my friend and I were once having a discussion about Leven Thumps probably a year ago. I told her that it'd be really awesome to have a Sycophant from Foo. She said that it'd freak her out too much to have a creature with her 24-7. Not neccessarily. You could tell them to go away for a moment. Still, who would though? They're so awesome, I think!

So this is Clover Ernest before his time in Reality, while still attending school (to get a better idea, read Professor Winsnicker's Book of Proper Etiquette for Well-Mannered Sycophants). I'm still having some trouble drawing him. I make him look too bat-like and young. So I'm still practicing when I get the chance. I included things he likes. If you can spot them you're cool!
