Computer Illustration assignment - Self Portrait.

I'll be honest, I really didn't want to color my face. I still feel that the nose is too big.

This is really different from my other brightly colored happy works!

~*Now for the rambling*~

I had no idea what I was going to do for the assignment and while I was waiting for breakfast, I looked at Enya's Christmas CD cover and was inspired by one of the poses, then later on that day I played this addicting game in class. XD [link]

Thus, the picture was born.

The wolf is a personal touch, but I think it suits the mood well. My teacher said the picture was like a children's book, and had a feeling of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. (I love that story!)

The feeling, however, has somewhat of a death meaning in a majestic way. The thought of "Maybe when we die, we either wait for our loved one on a stairway to heaven, or my loved one waits for me, and together we walk together into the next journey."

The rest of the mood is rather personal.

Without them finishing this picture would have been impossible! The photos I looked at for reference were wonderful.

The wolf was hard because....there was no exact pose on the wolf, so I had to compromise three pictures in one. :/
