Over the rounded hills and through the forest in a faraway land there lived a beautiful girl who knew the location to the Butterfly Realm. The Realm, which was beyond the large stone wall with the feeble wooden door was protected by the largest padlock in the shape of a cocoon. However, the queen, who would squeeze her tiny frame through one of the cracks of the wall, would not allow young people to trespass into her mysterious land. Upset, the girl said, "Queenie, will there ever be an opportunity for me to come inside. I want to know the secret of the Butterfly Realm." "My dear, when you are old enough, you'll understand. On your 16th birthday, a gift will be by your windowsill. Then, you can come enter through my wooden door, and you will see for yourself."

This is my birthday present for my absolutely wonderful friend
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA!!!
Amanda, while on MSN, this was the picture I was talking about, needing to add highlights and such.
Amanda is so great! She's one of the reasons that I love DA so much. She has great artwork, she is so kind and caring and just a fun girl to talk to.
This was inspired by her beautiful background to her journal layout. And in fact, it's supposed to be a picture of her, but I'm not too good at drawing real people into my style. It takes a lot of practice (Heck, I can hardly draw myself!!! ) So, in a nutshell, that's a picture of Amanda wearing a white dress covered in moth. What happened after she passed through the door? What do you think?
Amanda is a beautiful girl. To me, she looks like a porcelain doll. It's her eyes that are so pretty, plus her very light skin. She's so pretty!!! Gah! I sound so weird, like a creepy stalker or something. Go visit her, now, before I embarrass myself even more. @___@;;;
its so pretty!!! all of your artwork is lol great job! i'm mesmerized by pretty colors lol

Devious Technology is very proud to announce one of deviantART’s most highly anticipated projects – Portfolio: The Awesome Version!! Portfolio is the simplest and most professional tool on the Internet for formal presentation and review of artwork, and the best part is: it's available to everyone for FREE!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
